Circa 1900. Elegant pair of French style Parian porcelain statues of an 18th century man and women. Very tall and beautifully molded, this handsome pair is in extremely fine, extremely clean condition, the parian porcelain is the purest white I have ever owned. Both are beautifully dressed and coiffed and have the demeanor of a courting couple. He has his hat under his arm as he glances at her, she is looking demurely down. From the tops of their heads to the elegant footwear, all beautifully detailed. Un-marked, very high quality, with no damage or restorations. 17 1/4" tall x 7" diameter. Price $950.00 for the pair.
